ATELIER

ATELIER is an Association in France which promotes the use of wool and other fibres. It encourages networking between its members. I was the first British member of this Association!

You can see how she has used my Icelandic wool in the photos on my Gallery page, and on her own website. I used some of the same fleece to make the shawl also shown on the Gallery page.

Wonderwool Wales Show & Competition

A Festival of Welsh wool and natural fibres, and the competition is a celebration of the many uses for Welsh wool.
The Show is being held at the Royal Welsh Showground on 26th & 27th April 2008, from 10 a.m till 5.30 p.m on each day.

Group for Icelandic Sheep Breeders in Britain

The Group was set up in 1988 to maintain a Flock Book of pedigree Icelandic Sheep bred in Britain. Without such registration you cannot know whether sheep purchased are pure. It also provides information about Icelandic sheep to those interested in purchasing the sheep or fibre. I am currently the Secretary, Flock Book Compiler, and Newsletter Editor of this Group
